2008 Focus Built With SYNC

Ford has implemented the new SYNC into the new 2008 Ford Focus. SYNC is a voice controlled system for any cellphone and iPod that was developed with the help of Microsoft.

When you connect your Bluetooth phone with the Sync system you can make calls with the touch of one button. After that, you simply say “dial” and call out either the phone number or a listing from your phone book.

An incoming call gets answered by pushing the same button. Texting works, too, and Sync offers a list of 15 replies, including “I love you.” I couldn’t make this work with my admittedly cheap phone. When it comes to the iPod all you have to do is plug it in to the USB port, push a simple button, and your favorite artist will come over your speakers.
