2008 Focus Built With SYNC

Ford has implemented the new SYNC into the new 2008 Ford Focus. SYNC is a voice controlled system for any cellphone and iPod that was developed with the help of Microsoft.

When you connect your Bluetooth phone with the Sync system you can make calls with the touch of one button. After that, you simply say “dial” and call out either the phone number or a listing from your phone book.

Focus Receives ‘Good’ Rating For Saftey Crash Tests

Who knew that crashing a car could be so good? Ford just finished testing their brand new 2008 Focus and sent the results back to the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS). As most of us know the way that Ford tests their vehicles is by placing dummies in the seats and literally crashing it into a wall.

The test mule for the 2009 Mazda 3 has been spotted by the infamous spy photographers and we finally get an idea of what too look forward too. Well at least we can try to use our imaginations as best we can because the automakers took pre-cautions to making sure that the design of the vehicle remained elusive to us.

Ford Starts Delivery On E85 Hybrids

Ford is ready to show the world what they are made of and in doing so have released a fleet of ethanol fueled hybrids on the street. The first three of the E85 Escape Hybrids were delivered to the Department of Energy, the Renewable Fuels Association (RFA) and the Governors’ Ethanol Coalition (GEC).

Ford May Close Fatory In Australia

Ford’s engine factory in Geelong, Australia, has been operating since 1926. It currently employs over a third of the citizens, which is almost 1500 workers. At this time Ford is deciding whether or not to keep the plant open. If the plant closes then they will be pushing 600 jobs out the door.

Taurus Comes Back For 2008

After a hard decision Ford has decided to bring back the Taurus for the 2008 model year. Ford first released the vehicle as a redesigned Ford Five Hundred back in January, but have decided to rename it to the Taurus. “Taurus has been an icon for Ford’s family sedan for more than two decades, and it’s time to return this powerful name to where it belongs,” said Mark Fields, Ford’s President of The Americas, at the Chicago Auto Show.
